First of all I wish a happy & blessed new year to all!

These are the principles to be put into a action for a better year with more success, peace, achievement and much more. This is just a few there are many things to be done but it's good to start somewhere easy. In the resent  poll i posted in this blog  beauty bookworm with question

Are you satisfied with your achievements this year?

The affirmation of the year:

"I Can Do All Things Through Christ Who Strengthens Me"

Philippians 4:13

Most weren't really that satisfied. Most didn't fully achieve their goals. So I thought of sharing with you the principles I'll use from the Bible to make this year a better one. God has given us the instructions we need to get things better.

✿ First Things First

This is where all the good things begin...

Matthew 6:25-34 (NASB)

25“For this reason I say to you, do not be worried about your life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?
 26“Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they?
27“And who of you by being worried can add a single hour to his life?
28“And why are you worried about clothing? Observe how the lilies of the field grow; they do not toil nor do they spin,
29yet I say to you that not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these.
30“But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, will He not much more clothe you? You of little faith!
31“Do not worry then, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear for clothing?
32“For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
33“But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
34“So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Golden Principle:

Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and He will give you everything you need.

Time Management

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

A Time for Everything
1For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven:
2 a time to be born, and a time to die;
a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted;
3 a time to kill, and a time to heal;
a time to break down, and a time to build up;
4 a time to weep, and a time to laugh;
a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
5 a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together;
a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
6 a time to seek, and a time to lose;
a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
7 a time to tear, and a time to sew;
a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
8 a time to love, and a time to hate;
a time for war, and a time for peace.

Ephesians 5:15 -17

"
Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.
"

Principle:

Seek the will of the Lord and align your will with His will.
Learn to number your days and set things according to their priority and the time that suppose to belong to it.
Set time ahead in accordance to their importance somethings can't be controlled with your timing so be ready to adapt each circumstance with a plan B.
Learn to manage your time rightly because time never waits.

"So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom." - Psalm 90:12 (ESV)

Procrastination/Laziness - the strong battle with self discipline

Proverbs 24:33-34 (NASB)

33“A little sleep, a little slumber,
  A little folding of the hands to rest,”
34Then your poverty will come as a robber
  And your want like an armed man.

"If you wait for perfect conditions, you will never get anything done." - Ecclesiastes 11:14 (NLT)

"The soul of the sluggard craves and gets nothing, while the soul of the diligent is richly supplied." - Proverbs 13:14 (ESV)

Principle:

Fight procrastination and laziness with a leg and an arm. Winning the battle doesn't only mean you are discipline  But you are capable enough to take charge of your feelings ,thus increasing your self respect and gaining the 'trust' of others. Also making you happier in the long run that finally you are able to say "I'll so this and you do it". That's one of the greatest achievement being able to discipline "me".

Change your actions. A better relationship with one another.

 Matthew 7:12 (ESV)
“So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets."

Principle:

You want love? Give love. You want sorrow? Make someone sorrowful. (by the way you better not ha ha)
You want happiness? Make others happy! The list is long and endless on the possibilities.
 what ever you sow you will reap,  in other words: do good to others and you get good. Do bad to someone and you get bad back. This is not Karma it is God's reciprocity law.  lways choose the right way. That's how life is.. as people may also know it called the 'Golden Principle'

 Mind shifting / Heart tweaking... eventually leading to better speech

Luke 6:45 (ESV)
The good person out of the good treasure of his heart produces good, and the evil person out of his evil treasure produces evil, for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.

Proverbs 23:7
7 For as he  thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.

Principle:

Who do you think i am? Is it time to change my way of thinking? What do i speak about. Is it time to learn how to talk again? Perhaps if you didn't achieve your goals this year, speak negativity and your esteem has fallen then yes. But make sure you don't have a higher self thought about yourself than what you really are or  capable of;  that way you avoid being prideful and going overboard yet totally leaving in the fullness of your purpose.

Stress/Depression Free Life :) I want that!

Be careful of what you fear:

Job 3:25 (HCSB)
25 For the thing I feared has overtaken me,
and what I dreaded has happened to me. s
26 I cannot relax or be still;
I have no rest, t for trouble comes.

Troubles and problems are inevitable. But to gain peace in a hectic life what we are to do it the following...

Philippians 4:8-9 (NLT)
8.And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.
9.Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me--everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.

Principle:

Think on good things. Your thoughts shape emotions, beliefs, circumstances and life.

That's it :) Feel free to join  the blog and post your comments.

Remember time doesn't wait. So carpe diem -Deo juvante! Seize the day with Gods help!
Jesus loves us. God bless you!
