This post came due to a question from a reader; Azar :)
"Hi, myself twenty four years male. I am a sports man well.

I suffer from dry and hair breakage, so because of this i am avoiding daily hair wash.
I like to know about whether the accumulation of sweat cause hair breakage?

What are the routine i have to keep up? "

Sweat (specifically eccrine glands secretion ) contain salt (sodium chloride) and electrolytes.Apart from that we know that our bodies release toxins through it.When hair is not washed (after exercising) the salt from the sweat  eventually dries out your hair.Dry hair is prone to break easily.Avoiding daily wash is not the solution but a good regime will help put your hair in order ^_^.

This is the daily regime i recommend for people that exercise.

Dry hair:
1. Co-wash after exercising. If you don't know what co-washing it check out, what is co-washing.That helps you reduce your shampoo usage and adds moisture to your hair.
2. Shampoo once a week and use a hair mask the day you do.
If you are out of time just rinse your hair with water and apply a leave in conditioner.

Oily hair:
1. Shampoo daily with a sulfate free shampoo instead.
Your hair might be too oily sometimes and might not have the time to shampoo. That's were a dry shampoo come in handy. It helps absorb excess oil and moisture.

Normal hair:

You can either shampoo or co-wash as needed.

That simple!
